gesture drawing this morning, i went a little insane with the shapes.
it was so much fun, i can't wait until tuesday night's class!

thanks Rickie! i totally agree - the first one started as my favourite but as i look at them more the second one is totally my fav, too.
thanks for your comment on my blog, i do like to use prismacolors but really any soft graphite, 2b-4b is good, i think if you have enough control you don't smudge it unless you want to,
nice drawings, but you should really think about making things soft or hard when they should be, being more deliberate. and also don't igonre the rythym that continues into the hands all the way to the fingertips.
Thanks George, you know i adore your drawings! You're right, I think have a tendency to stick the hands and feet on without thinking. I really appreciate the advice, i'll definitely think more about hard vs. soft lines.
