Ah nuts, I forgot to look up the book. I believe it is either An Illustrated Life: Drawing Inspiration from the Private Sketchbooks of Artists, Illustrators and Designers; Artist's Journal Workshop or The Artist's Sketchbook. Ring any bells? Sometimes I think I have too many books but then I think "that's both ridiculous and impossible!".
